FAQ'S

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, I require a £50 booking fee to secure your date. This will be taken off of the cost due for the day.

What is the payment schedule?

The £50 booking fee is taken upon booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your wedding day. I will send you an invoice 30 days before with full payment details. The balance for your trial separate from the total of the day and is due on the date of your trial.

When is the best time to have my trial?

I always recommend we do your trial anywhere between 6- 2 months before your wedding date. However this is just a guide and I am more than happy to arrange your trial for a any time that suits you.

Can anyone have a trial?

Yes. I always recommend the bride has a trial to ensure the morning of your wedding to runs smoothly and peace of mind. Any member of your bridal party is also more than welcome to also have a trial however I’m more than happy to go ahead without doing one. It’s really personal preference.

How long does the trial take?

I allow two and a half hours for a brides hair and makeup trial. This gives plenty of time to tweak the style as much as needed until you are completely happy with it. For brides who are having a trial for hair or makeup I allow up to an hour and a half.

Where is the trial held?

You can either come to my home in Haywards Heath or I am more than happy to travel to you providing you aren’t too far.

Can you use my products?
I carry a full kit that contains makeup for all skin types and tones however I understand that you my like me to use your foundation if you have one you really like. I’m more than happy to do this however I do ask we use it for your trial as well so you know exactly how your makeup will be for your day. This also gives me a chance to check the ingredients to ensure the makeup is photo friendly.

What can I do to prepare for hair and skin before my big day?

I have a ‘Bridal Preparation document’ that I send through after your booking is confirmed. This is full of general tips to help your hair and skin look its best before your big day as well as what you can do beforehand to ensure the hair and makeup stays put all day. As well as this I also use your trial to get an understanding of your skin and hair type so I can give you more personalised advice.

How many people can you fit in for hair and/or makeup on the wedding morning?

I have a team of girls that I bring along to help for larger bridal parties. This means we can cater for as many people as you need with no rush and without having to start too early

How long does the hair and/or makeup take?

Brides hair and makeup takes 50 minutes each so an hour and 40 minutes altogether.
Bridesmaid/ mother of the bride's hair and makeup takes 35 minutes each so an hour and 10 minutes per person. I always have you and your bridal party ready an hour before you need to leave for the ceremony. This gives enough time to get into dresses and get plenty of photos!
